Inter-American Network on Government Procurement Annual Meeting

The Inter-American Network on Government Procurement (RICG) will hold its 20th Annual Conference bringing together public procurement authorities and specialists from the region and globally. The event is co-organized by the RICG, through its Technical Secretariat, which is managed by the Organization of American States (OAS), in coordination with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), and the government of the State of Nuevo León.
This year’s conference will develop a strategic reflection on the role of public procurement in addressing the region’s main challenges. Under the theme “Public Procurement as an Engine for State Coordination and Interconnection,” the event will explore how procurement systems can contribute to strengthening institutional coordination, connecting levels of government, mobilizing market capacity, and generating greater public value.
Open Contracting Partnership’s Director for Latin America Oscar Hernández will be delivering a key note on the issue of: “Digital transformation as a tool for better collaboration with the private sector”.
