Executive Director for the Open Contracting Partnership

The Open Contracting Partnership (OCP) is seeking an energetic Executive Director (ED) with strong leadership, management and collaboration skills, to build on the OCP’s achievements and brand, and lead the Partnership in further developing and promoting its mission.

The momentum for open contracting has been growing rapidly, and since its original foundation just two years ago, the OCP has made significant progress in positioning and advancing its goals of enhancing disclosure and participation around the world. This is a critical moment for open contracting, as the OCP transitions into a new stage with its own organizational structures and funding.

This position presents an amazing opportunity to play a leading role in shaping both the future of the Partnership in this new stage and of the open contracting agenda. The ED will be a key ambassador for the Partnership. S/He will provide leadership to the OCP in establishing the strategic frameworks and developing and managing the programs, products, services and institutional relationships involved in achieving the mission of the OCP. The ED will be responsible for setting up the Partnership’s office in Washington, DC, hiring a secretariat a team,  and leading fundraising and networking efforts.
