Code for America Summit Breakout Session: How open data and technology are helping government contracts deliver value for everyone

The Mexico City Ecobici team is improving the largest bike share system in Latin America through user research, data modeling, and market outreach to technology and service delivery vendors. They are now slated to expand affordable, user-friendly technology and transportation to underserved neighborhoods across the city.

Colorado Digital Service is using open data and technology, user experience principles, and creative problem-solving to co-create a social health information exchange that is resulting in better outcomes for Colorado, their technology partner, and local residents seeking access to state benefits.
